Membership Rules

To ensure a consistently pleasant, respectful, and exclusive environment for all our valued members and their guests, The Nineteen Twenty kindly requests adherence to the following club rules:

• – All members and guests of The Nineteen Twenty must be 18 years or older.
• – Photo identification may be asked for by staff at any time.
• – No persons under 18 years of age are permitted to enter any part of The Nineteen Twenty.
• – Annual and monthly members may sign in non-member guests (who must be over the age of 18 years) for one (1) visit free of charge. Following this complimentary visit, guests will be kindly asked to become a member for any subsequent visits.
• – Only cigars or pipe tobacco purchased within The Nineteen Twenty may be smoked in the cigar lounge. No externally sourced tobacco products are permitted.
• – No cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or vaping devices are to be smoked or used anywhere inside the building.
• – Theft of any description from The Nineteen Twenty, its staff, members, or guests will result in immediate and permanent loss of membership, and legal action will follow.
• – Vandalism or deliberate damage to any property within The Nineteen Twenty will result in immediate loss of membership, liability for damages, and potential legal action.
• – Abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour towards any other member, staff member, guest, or member of the public will not be tolerated and will result in loss of membership.
• – Any person found to be using, in possession of, supplying, or selling illegal drugs on the premises will immediately lose their membership, be permanently excluded from The Nineteen Twenty, and will face legal action.
• – The Nineteen Twenty reserves the right to refuse service or entry to any person that is deemed by staff to be heavily intoxicated or otherwise unfit to be on the premises.
• – The Nineteen Twenty enforces a smart dress code at all times to maintain the desired ambiance. Gentlemen, a jacket is insisted upon, and a tie would be wonderful. Ladies, please think elegant with a touch of class. Sportswear, trainers (sneakers), and overly casual attire are not permitted.
• – Please be aware that for the safety and security of our members, guests, and staff, all public areas of The Nineteen Twenty are covered by CCTV surveillance.
• – Breach of any of The Nineteen Twenty’s rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent loss of membership and exclusion, at the discretion of the management.

These rules are in place to protect the integrity of the lounge and ensure every visit is a memorable one for the right reasons. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
